From custom solid-wood furniture to careful restoration of furniture and antiques, every project is handmade with real craftsmanship, and crafted right here at home for the people of our community.
MEET THE MAKER
Meet Jake Deter
Deet's Krafting was founded by Jake Deter, a United States Marine who served as a Military Police Officer before being medically retired after three years of service. Long before the Marines, and ever since, Jake has been a builder at heart. Growing up, any time he had free time, he was making something; furniture, outdoor enclosures for chickens and rabbits, decks, fencing, and just about anything else that could be built by hand.

Of everything he built, furniture was always his favorite. Deet's Krafting is where that lifelong passion became his life's work. This is where he pours his skill, discipline, and genuine love of the craft into every piece he works on. When you hire Jake, you're not getting a factory, you're getting a craftsman who cares.
